Chicken and Beef are each built on a single named meat with its own heart and liver. Roo & Sardines is our novel-protein option for cats reacting to poultry or beef, though it does contain fish. Every ingredient is on the label with its percentage, so you can check it against your vet's advice. If your cat has a known allergy, email hello@louispetco.au with their history and we'll tell you which recipe to start on.
Feeding & storage
One pouch a day for a typical 5kg cat, about 220 calories. Freeze on arrival, then move a pouch to the fridge the night before. Thawed pouches keep 5 days in the fridge; once opened, use within 2 days. Bigger, younger or more active cats often need a little more

The switch
Follow the transition guide in your box. Most cats go straight for the chicken; fussier ones do better mixed in over a few days.
Month 1
Digestion settles
Higher moisture and no fillers mean less to ferment in the gut, so stools firm up and the litter tray gets noticeably less pungent.
Month 3
Coat and condition
Cats grow a new coat over roughly this long. Fed on animal fat and complete protein, that new growth is what shows the difference.
Month 6
Weight and water
Portioned meals instead of a full bowl keeps weight steady, and eating most of their water is the single easiest thing you can do for a cat's kidneys.
